Office of Career Services

The mission of Miles College Career Services is to provide students with internship, career opportunities and comprehensive career planning and assist students in enhancing their job search skills and strategies including but not limited to resume building, career guidance, mock interviews etc. Students will be provided with opportunities to network and collaborate with leaders who could potentially be their employers.

At Miles College, your education prepares you for a successful future. Your classes and co-curricular activities will provide you with the knowledge and hard skills you’ll need in your chosen field. You’ll also have every opportunity to gain the soft skills employers are looking for: communication, leadership, and critical thinking. Career Services at Miles gives you the help you’ll need to build the career you’re working toward.

You might not know what you want to do when you graduate — or you might have a career in mind. Either way, we help you evaluate your strengths, identify your interests, and figure out the best career path through comprehensive career planning. 

Internship and Career Opportunities 

Through our relationships with employers, career fairs on campus, and access to the 24/7 online recruiting platform Handshake, we help you land internships during your time at Miles and career opportunities as you near graduation.

Job Search Skills and Strategies

Career Services staff will help you develop the skills and strategies you need to apply and secure internships and jobs. Among them are:

  • Resume building
  • Career guidance
  • Mock interviews
