We are delighted to extend an invitation to you for the upcoming Miles College Homecoming 2023 festivities. The Miles College family cordially invites you to join us in our celebration. A wide array of exciting activities are planned for Homecoming 2023. The grand Coronation of Miss Miles College is scheduled for Sunday, October 15th, 2023. Additionally, the Inauguration of the 2023-2024 SGA President and his Cabinet will take place on Monday, September 26th, 2022. Notably, the Homecoming Parade will be held on Saturday, October 21st, 2023, commencing at 9:00 a.m. in Fairfield. Following the parade, we eagerly anticipate the football game against Allen University, with kickoff slated for 4:00 p.m. Moreover, this year's Homecoming Parade will feature a Battle of the Bands — a contest between esteemed High School and Middle School Bands. Each participating band will showcase their musical prowess, sound, and precision, presenting one (1) selection on the center stage before a panel of judges stationed at the President's Viewing Stand. We extend an invitation to partake in the Homecoming Parade. The assembly for the parade will commence promptly at 7:00 a.m. in the rear parking lot of the Foundry. The parade itself will kick off promptly at 9:00 a.m., following the designated route as outlined below: Commencing at the Foundry Parking LotProceeding along Flint Ridge/E.J. Oliver Blvd, making a right onto Valley Road, then veering left onto Gary AvenueTurning right from Gary Avenue onto 45th Street (please use the right side next to the park)Take a left from 45th Street onto Valley Road, followed by a right turn from Valley Road onto Court F, leading straight to Miles North Campus. Enclosed with this letter, you will find a registration form for the parade. Your participation will be evaluated by a panel of local celebrities, and the most outstanding entry will be awarded a trophy.
