Course Highlight

Botany
In this course, every week is an adventure in discovery. You’ll grow your own plants from seed under different conditions. By measuring and recording them, you can observe firsthand how environment, light, and even music influence growth. You’ll dive into the fascinating science of phytochemicals, extracting these natural compounds and testing their effects on bacterial strains. You’ll explore the medicinal power and nutritional benefits of superfoods. And when the semester ends, you’ll take home living reminders of your journey.
