Miles College partnering with Amazon’s Career Choice program

FAIRFIELD, Ala. (WIAT) — Miles College announced a partnership with Amazon’s Career Choice program Tuesday, which allows Amazon employees access to classes at Miles in an effort to increase their career advancement.

“This is a powerful moment for Miles College and for our community,” said Miles College President Bobbie Knight. “Partnering with Amazon Career Choice allows us to expand our impact, train more workforce-ready graduates, and ensure that both our students and working professionals have the tools they need to thrive in a competitive economy.”

Amazon’s Career Choice program is a education benefit that invests funds to better equip employees to advance within or outside of Amazon. According to a release from Miles College, over 160,000 Amazon employees have participated in the program.
