A Message from SGA President Khloe Johnson

To the Miles College Family,

My name is Khloe Johnson, and I am honored to serve as your Student Government Association President. As we begin the 2026–2027 academic year, the Gold Administration is committed to honoring Miles College's proud history while leading with integrity, transparency, and purpose. Miles College has long been a symbol of resilience, excellence, and opportunity. As student leaders, we have a responsibility not only to uphold that tradition but also to build upon it for the future Golden Bears who will come after us.

Leadership is not defined by a title; it is demonstrated through service. It requires listening, collaboration, accountability, and the courage to speak up for those you represent. The Gold Administration is committed to ensuring that every student feels seen, heard, and valued while fostering a campus culture grounded in our Milean Values and guided by the vision of One Miles. Our administration is guided by four principles: Growth, Opportunity, Leadership, and Development — GOLD.

Growth means strengthening opportunities that support our students academically, personally, and professionally.

Opportunity means developing partnerships and connections that provide greater access to internships, career opportunities, professional development, and experiences beyond the classroom. Leadership means maintaining transparency, embracing accountability, and promoting meaningful collaboration among students, student leaders, and the College administration.

Development means enhancing the Miles College experience through impactful programs and opportunities that strengthen Golden Bear pride and prepare our students to succeed beyond these gates. To my fellow student leaders, I challenge you to lead with humility, serve with passion, and uphold the highest standards of character. To every member of the student body, I encourage you to remain engaged, share your voice, and hold us accountable as we work to represent you faithfully. The strength of Miles College depends on all of us.

The future of our institution is bright, and it is a privilege to serve alongside you as we work to make Miles College stronger and more united. Together, let us lead with purpose, serve with excellence, and leave a legacy that reflects the very best of what it means to be a Golden Bear.

In Service and Golden Bear Pride,

Khloe Johnson
