CEO of Thornton Enterprises Inc. makes a multi-tiered philanthropic donation to Miles College

FAIRFIELD, ALABAMA- Larry Dale Thornton, Jr. a 2004 graduate of Miles College, a McDonald’s owner/operator, and the CEO of Thornton Enterprises Inc. is making a multi-tiered philanthropic donation to Miles College on Saturday morning, October 15, 2022 at 8:00 am.

This event will occur at the Grand reopening of his McDonalds store in Midfield, Ala. on Bessemer Rd. After recently acquiring the McDonalds store, which is near the campus, Dale Thornton realized that now is a perfect time and opportunity to invest in his alma mater.

Thornton is also scheduled to deliver his donation at halftime of the Miles College 2022 Homecoming game against Lane College.

Miles College highly appreciates this legacy building donation from an alumnus.  This gift will span generations of Miles College students and be used to help prepare our student body to become leaders just like Dale Thornton.
