Miles College Temporarily Waves ACT/SAT Scholarship Requirements
FAIRFIELD, ALABAMA – Miles College has decided to temporarily remove standardized test scores as a qualifying scholarship requirement for the 2021 – 2022 admissions cycle. Considering the challenges of navigating the admissions process in light of COVID-19, Miles College isadjusting its scholarship requirements for the 2021 academic school year.
Applicants will still be required to submit an official high school transcript and complete the admissions application to be considered for admission to the college. This temporary adjustment for scholarship consideration will be available to prospective students applying for admission for the 2021 spring and fall semester.
Prospective transfer students seeking admission to the college must submit transcripts from all previously enrolled institutions.
“Our primary focus as an institution of higher learning is to continue providing accessible and affordable educational opportunities while removing barriers from students seeking to achieve their educational goals,” said Michael Johnson, Vice President of Enrollment Management.
As an open-enrollment institution, Miles College does not require prospective students to submit standardized test scores to gain admissions to the college. Once a prospective student completes their admissions application and submits their transcripts from all previously enrolled institutions, they’re automatically considered for institutional scholarships.
The admission application is now live for the 2021 school year at www.myexperience.miles.edu.
