Responsible for the safety and welfare of all students residing in the assigned residence halls.
Exhibit professional decorum at all times through appropriate dress and limited telephone use.
Must be aware of student problems and concerns and have the ability to counsel with students on a group or individual basis.
Assist in the implementation of developmental programs in the residence halls.
The Assistant Director of Admissions for Operations and Communication is responsible for the general oversight and day-to-day functionality of the customer relationship management (CRM) practices and for the management and leadership of the office’s Central Processing unit. The Assistant Director of Admissions will report to the Vice President for Enrollment Management and the Director of Admissions and Recruitment and provide leadership to the office in the absence of the Director.
The admissions counselor assists students as they transition to the institution and serves as a guide throughout the enrollment process. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills (oral, written and computer) and interpersonal skills and be willing to work some weekends and evenings.
The Administrative Assistant/Secretary, reports directly to the Vice President for Enrollment Management and the Director of the Office of Admissions and Recruitment and is responsible for the overall administrative support for the Office of Admissions and Division of Enrollment Management.
Must have M.A. (or 18 graduate hours in Speech courses) in Communication Management or the equivalent, college teaching experience and a demonstrated commitment to the ideals of a liberal arts education required.
