Description: This is a full-time, 9 or 12 - month faculty appointment beginning in Fall 2020. The area of specialization is open but the successful candidate will be expected to teach a broad range of classes from introductory freshmen courses to specialized upper-division offerings. Experience developing and/or delivering online classes is a plus.
Entry Level Qualifications: Masters Degree in Criminal Justice or Criminology required. PhD preferred. Experience teaching at the College level, preferably at a four-year degree-granting institution. Experience advising students on academic and professional career choices.
Job Duties: Teaching responsibilities each semester include but are not limited to teaching at least four (4) classes. Additional duties include advising, institutional committee assignments and other duties as deemed necessary.
Hours of Job: General hours of operation are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday – Friday. Faculty members may be asked to support departmental operations by teaching an evening or Saturday classes on occasion.
