Erin Elizabeth Campbell is a native of the Magic City, Birmingham, AL. She was born on May 10, 1996 to wonderful parents, Mr. and Mrs. David and Valerie Campbell. Prior to Miss Campbell’s enrollment at Miles College, she attended and graduated with honors from Holy Family Cristo Rey Catholic High School. Subsequently, Erin began her journey at Miles College in 2014, entering and participating during the initial year of the Jump Start Program, which gives students the opportunity to strengthen growth areas, academically. Miss Campbell has desired to acquire the title of Miss Miles College since her Freshman year. In preparation for such an esteemed title, Miss Campbell began serving her Institution in various organizations. She served three years as a Golden Star in the Purple Marching Machine, is member of the Honors Curriculum, Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority, served as Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. Miss Black and Gold 2016-2017 , and was a mentor for the First Year Enrichment Program. Miss Campbell’s platform is: “E^3: Equip to Excel with Erin.” She plans to equip students with the opportunities to excel on campus socially and academically. “I desire to cultivate an atmosphere where Mileans can experience the Institution that I have learned to love, which was done through positivity, perseverance and proclivity to success. It is important that I keep God first; have faith in Him, myself, and others, by doing so I have earned the opportunity of fulfilling my dream of representing this illustrious Institution of higher learning, the best keep secret in the South, Miles College.” Once Erin is complete with her journey at Miles College, she aspire to become an officer in the Air Force to travel the world, to maintain
discipline, and to serve her country. Miss Campbell’s favorite Bible scripture is:, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding, In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths,” Proverbs 3:5-6.
Miss Campbell’s favorite and apropos quote is: “Every next level of your life will demand a different you!” (Unknown) which encourages and inspires her to evolve so that she continues to successfully represent Miles College, her family and most importantly, herself.
