Event: Spring Arts Festival Virtual Gallery Featuring Various Submissions of Students and Faculty from the Division of Humanities and the Division of Communications
Mr. Tony Bingham
Art 101 / 102 classes
This group of short films and stop motion animation projects, introduce you to the range of possibilities that we found in using inexpensive items to create beautiful works of art. The students of Mr. Bingham's Art 101 / 102 classes have produced a range of projects, from pinhole photography, cast iron sculpture, self portraits, and our original Papercut Project stop motion animation series. Moving forward we hope to embrace the possibilities of using our smart phones to aid in our creative process. We hope that you will enjoy both watching and learning from our process. Send your comments to tonymbingham@yahoo.com and abingham@miles.edu. You can view additional examples of our projects on Instagram at #milesanimators.
Thanks, Mr. Tony Bingham

GRAPHIC DESIGN ART GALLERY 2020
Graphic Design is not just making things aesthetically look good by arranging them on a page. Graphic Design is a Communication Art form.
This virtual gallery segment is designed to inspire and enhance the viewers understanding of Graphic Design as an Art form as well as the communication tool for which it is most known. Students in the Miles College Graphic Design Concentration under the Division of Humanities and Communication are not just learning software but they get to explore the depths of their creativity.
Each piece was done by students in the Graphic Design Concentration under the Division of Humanities and Communication at Miles College and was chosen because of its aesthetic appeal.
Within this segment one will see:
1. Visual impossibilities created through Digital Image Manipulation.
2. Animated pieces, both original and acquired drawings from other sources that have been animated by Motion Design Graphic students.
3. The latest Student Magazine Publication, The Milean, which illustrates the area of Graphic Design familiar to most people.
PARTICIPANTS:
Gabriell Patterson; Ibn Poindexter, Julian McDuffie, Andrew Bass, Jeffrey Proctor,
