LEVEL II FIELD EXPERIENCES
Early Childhood(EC)/Elementary Education(EE)/
Music Education(ME)/Secondary Education (SE)
Intermediate Level – The State Department approved our requirement of ten hours of lab-field experience per professional education course so that candidates may receive the practical classroom experience as they study the more theoretical course content. At this level, candidates must spend ten clock hours of field experience in the candidate’s major area in either early childhood, elementary or high school for each education course. This level excludes Introduction to Teaching (ED 209), Field Studies in Early Childhood Education (ED440), and Early Field Experience (MU 105). Each course employs its own assessment tool as outlined in the Lab/Field Manuel. Each student will visit, observe and participate in diverse and multi-cultural school settings.
