Federal
Pell Grant Program |
Federal Pell Grants are awarded to help
undergraduates (1st Bachelors degree) pay
for their education after high school. For
many students, the Federal Pell Grant provides
a “ foundation” of financial
aid to which aid from other Federal and
non-Federal sources may be added. Unlike
loans, grants do not have to be repaid.
All applicants applying for scholarships/Grant-In-Aid
from the College must apply for a Federal
Pell Grant (See Financial Aid application
procedures). |
Federal
Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant
(FSEOG) |
Federal
Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants
are “campus based” federal assistance,
which is available to undergraduate students
(1st Bachelors degree) who have demonstrated
financial need. A Federal SEOG is a gift
of assistance to help pay for a post secondary-
education. This grant ranges from $100 to
$ 4,000 depending on need, the availability
of Federal SEOG funds at the College, and
the amount of other aid offered. You must
be a recipient of a Federal Pell Grant to
receive this aid, provided funds are available.
