PURPOSE

This booklet is designed to provide you and/or your parent(s) with information about the sources of student aid awarded through the college to assist you and/or your parent(s) in meeting the cost of the education.

Financial Assistance is designed solely for the purpose of assisting you and/or your parent(s) in meeting the cost of your education, but not to replace the necessity for both you and/or your parent(s) to paying as much as you can each pay in meeting the cost of the education. To secure Financial Aid, you must apply each academic year that you and/or your parent(s) determine that aid will be needed. In addition to applying each year, you must also supply all of the data, which is requested by the U. S. Department of Education and/or the college to establish your eligibility for aid.

Please remember that you must supply all of the data required to establish your eligibility for aid during the academic year of your enrollment while you are still enrolled and eligible to receive aid. When the academic year of your enrollment ends without you establishing your eligibility for aid, the college is prohibited by the Federal Regulation to grant you aid from the Federal Title IV Aid/or State Student Aid Programs.

You are urged to review the Student Guide, a publication of the U. S. Department of Education and the College’s Academic Catalog for additional information about the Federal, State, and institutional aid programs.
