WORK-STUDY PROGRAM (FWSP)

The Federal Work-Study Program provides work experience for students who have a demonstrated need to earn part of their educational expenses. A student may be approved by the Financial Aid Office to work between 10 and 15 hours per week when school is in session or up to 40 hours per week during breaks and vacation periods. You must have on file in the Financial Aid Office a processed copy of the Federal Pell Grant (SAR/ISIR Report); and work-study must be packaged by the Financial Aid Office before you can be determined eligible for Federal Work study placement. While working 40 hours per week, students are required to save 60% of their earnings to meet educational expenses during the following (subsequent) enrollment period (e.g. Fall/Spring and/or Summer). The amount you are required to save will be reflected as a part of your award package for your subsequent period of enrollment.
