The Financial Aid delivery system at Miles College has been enhanced to include the electronic processing of financial aid applications, awards, corrections, and adjustments. All applicants applying for financial aid from the College are required to apply for the Federal Pell Grant. Within six weeks after applying for the Federal Pell Grant, the applicant should receive a Student Aid Report (SAR).
All students who are legal residents of the State of Alabama must apply for the Alabama Student Grant. Applications for this Grant may be obtained from the Financial Aid Office.
For priority consideration, the Student Aid report must be received in the Financial Aid Office at Miles College on or before April 15 for the Fall Semester and November 15 for the Spring Semester. Summer School aid applications should be received by April 15. The FAFSA should be filed approximately six weeks prior to the above deadlines to ensure that a report reaches the Financial Aid Office by the above dates. Applications received after the above dates will be acted upon to the extent that funds are available at the time the completed application is received.
